Join The Team

Could you be our next team member?

Does this sound like you?

You prize flexibility and work is very much part of your life, but not the be-all-and-end-all.

You are defined by much more than your work.

You are ambitious with your time, and want to develop in a values-based organisation, and not stagnate just because you don’t want to work 9-5 in an office.

We are a values-led company, so if we are a good fit for you, our company values will resonate and closely match your own:

  • Make a difference: We are here to make a difference to our clients, members and team. If we are not making a positive difference then we are failing as an organisation.
  • Do the right thing: We will do the right thing with our team, our clients, our members and our business. Even if that means we are losing money, because our integrity and reputation is more important.
  • Honesty: We do not shy away from difficult conversations. We will be honest with each other, our clients and ourselves.
  • Trust: We come from a place of trust with each other and our relationships. Without trust and key relationships around us, we can’t function as a business.
  • Be at your best: Work hard, play hard. We all have a life outside of work but the job gets done. It’s also about us as a team enjoying the fruits of our labours and indulging in some friendly banter and a laugh.
  • Inclusivity: We aim to be a place where all our clients, members and team can work to their full potential regardless of their location, gender, mobility, religious beliefs, family responsibilities or view of life.
  • Always learning, always challenging: We are an organisation who prizes learning, creating new intellectual property and challenging accepted norms. We are always on the look out to find better ways of doing things for both us as a business and our members and clients.
  • Autonomy and freedom: We are a high trust organisation where team members work remotely and independently. Everyone has the freedom to excel.

To give you an idea of what is important to our team members outside of work, here is a few things that of our team do outside of work:

  • Puppy-dog walker for The Guide Dogs For The Blind
  • Founding team member of local children’s book festival

  • ‘Swimming’ mum

Is Remote Working For Me?

We know that remote working doesn’t suit everyone. And we want to be super clear right from the very start that remote working is different to working in an office with other people. You will need to be:

  • Good at communicating via video calls, whatsapp messages and the occasional email
  • Happy to use digital tools such as Trello, The Google Suite (docs, gmail, slides, sheets), Zoom, Receipt Bank….
  • Happy to work unsupervised, take the initiative, and be a self-starter if necessary
  • Good at managing your own energy and motivation. For example, you may need to initiate time for you to be with people as working from home can get lonely
  • Organised and able to manage both your home life and work life so you are not short-changing us or your family
  • Happy to pick up the phone, rather than suffer in silence
